Ginette The New French Restaurant in St Pere

Suzy of Foodie in Barcelona who lived in Paris for 4 years brings to our attention, no spot lights have been shone on French Cuisine in Barcelona in some years & she has a point, thinking about it! I cannot recall, at this time, reading or writing reviews about any French dining rooms. It´s not to say there aren´t any French Restaurants in the city, no no no. The question is why have they´been so overlooked?  Well, Not any more!

Lights!

Action!

In step Ginette a good looking French model of a restaurant, favourable because it seems they offer a catwalk of dish variants. Could French Cuisine be the food trend for 2018? Were the team at Ginette the crystal ball gatekeepers of what´s to come?
Lets head over to Ginette, the au courant in St Pere where Suzy gives us a heads up on this very recently launched eatery to see how well it faired.

Marwa and I have been greedily smearing our bread with Échiré butter when our warm duck rillettes arrive. Fatty, savoury, with a sharp hit of mustard somewhere in there. We pronounce Ginette’s takes on Spanish tapas a success.
